Levels of hormones that make us feel good & those hormones involved in social attachment, go up when were around dogs & stress hormone levels go down.

Group Walk 4/8 am




Who was on our walk?Pebbles, Molly, Jasper, Alice & George.
What time were we in the park? 10-11
Were did we go? Centennial Park
General comments: Today the sun was out, which was nice. Every one had a good time. Jasper enjoyed all the new sights & smells. Pebbles & molly enjoyed each others company. Alice got a little scared of anothe group of dogs but came to me for protection, which was cute & George meet a little friend along the way, another little grey dog :)

    Hi Lauren, Love your blog. Helps keep me in touch with Alice & George while I'm on my travels. You mention sometimes that George is "checking everything out". That's our little Georgie! We say he's "in bloodhound mode". He has such an obsessive personality. Once, in France, he and Alice accidentally flushed out a hare and gave chase. Alice gave up after 5 minutes. Knowing Georgie, Alice and I carried on with our walk. Georgie only caught up with us 25 minutes later. Thanks again for the photos and blog. Martin

Nala is a 5 year old, female, Jack Russell. Nala sticks very close to me on our walks. when there is a dog that is falling behind she will always stop & wait for them to catch up. & she gets any one in trouble if they are playing to rough.

Jasper is a 11 year old, Golden Retriever. Jasper is a very kind gentle natured dog. He still acts like a puppy when he is excited but he is usually the slowest walker in the group. He also hates it when i stop & talk to people when were out walking.

Born 7/02. Male. Staffie. Leroy is a lovely boy, he is very affectionate & always happy & excited to greet me. Leroy can some times get a bit bossy with younger dogs, I think he likes to teach them lessons & he also likes to play tug of war with his lead :)
