Levels of hormones that make us feel good & those hormones involved in social attachment, go up when were around dogs & stress hormone levels go down.

Group Walk 11/8 midday




Who was on our walk?Nala, Floyd, Miffy & Poppy.
What time were we in the park? 12-1
Were did we go?Black Wattle Bay
General comments: It is Floyds first birthday today & he had a great time out, he ran & played, he had a little swim in the water. Nala had a good time walking along smelling the air. Miffy had a little swim as well & enjoyed playing with Floyd. Poppy had a good time but would run back to me for a cuddle when things got a bit to exciting :)

Nala is a 5 year old, female, Jack Russell. Nala sticks very close to me on our walks. when there is a dog that is falling behind she will always stop & wait for them to catch up. & she gets any one in trouble if they are playing to rough.

Jasper is a 11 year old, Golden Retriever. Jasper is a very kind gentle natured dog. He still acts like a puppy when he is excited but he is usually the slowest walker in the group. He also hates it when i stop & talk to people when were out walking.

Born 7/02. Male. Staffie. Leroy is a lovely boy, he is very affectionate & always happy & excited to greet me. Leroy can some times get a bit bossy with younger dogs, I think he likes to teach them lessons & he also likes to play tug of war with his lead :)
