Levels of hormones that make us feel good & those hormones involved in social attachment, go up when were around dogs & stress hormone levels go down.

Group Dog Walk 20/10 pm




Who was on our walk? Bella, Nala, Floyd & Inca.
What time were we in the park? 12-1
Were did we go? Sydney Park
General comments: It was good to see Floyd and Bella back in the same group. They ran around together for what seemed the full hour. So much energy. Inca was extremely playful with everyone, i reckon he may have instigated most of the fun and mischief today. That is, with the "big dogs" as well. Nala is the dog that "needs no lead". She stayed with me the whole walk. When i walked, ran or stopped. Nala seemed to just "hang out". All in all, we all had lots of fun.

Nala is a 5 year old, female, Jack Russell. Nala sticks very close to me on our walks. when there is a dog that is falling behind she will always stop & wait for them to catch up. & she gets any one in trouble if they are playing to rough.

Jasper is a 11 year old, Golden Retriever. Jasper is a very kind gentle natured dog. He still acts like a puppy when he is excited but he is usually the slowest walker in the group. He also hates it when i stop & talk to people when were out walking.

Born 7/02. Male. Staffie. Leroy is a lovely boy, he is very affectionate & always happy & excited to greet me. Leroy can some times get a bit bossy with younger dogs, I think he likes to teach them lessons & he also likes to play tug of war with his lead :)
