Levels of hormones that make us feel good & those hormones involved in social attachment, go up when were around dogs & stress hormone levels go down.

Group Dog Walk 8/9 am




Who was on our walk? Nala, Bella, Miffy, Poppy & Floyd
What time were we in the park? 1030-1130
Were did we go? Jubelee Park- Black Wattle Bay.
General comments: We were walking along today trying to cover some ground, untill Floyd & Miffy made a bee line for some water we were coming up to & dove straight in, then every one else followed. It was such a lovely day for it & every on joined in & had a great time :)

Nala is a 5 year old, female, Jack Russell. Nala sticks very close to me on our walks. when there is a dog that is falling behind she will always stop & wait for them to catch up. & she gets any one in trouble if they are playing to rough.

Jasper is a 11 year old, Golden Retriever. Jasper is a very kind gentle natured dog. He still acts like a puppy when he is excited but he is usually the slowest walker in the group. He also hates it when i stop & talk to people when were out walking.

Born 7/02. Male. Staffie. Leroy is a lovely boy, he is very affectionate & always happy & excited to greet me. Leroy can some times get a bit bossy with younger dogs, I think he likes to teach them lessons & he also likes to play tug of war with his lead :)
